Over Easy, located at 46G Gerard Street in Huntington, celebrated its grand opening at the beginning of August 2023.

Though dozens of brunch spots have popped up on the island, the new restaurant has already generated buzz and a reputation for its delicious – not to mention Instagrammable – food and drinks.

“I've been looking for the perfect brunch spot in town and finally found it,” wrote Robert O. of Bay Shore, on the eatery’s Yelp.

The eatery, which features a quirky blue-and-yellow logo depicting a fried egg in a pan, boasts an impressive list of dishes to fit any taste, from savory to sweet.

“The cafe itself brings a vibrant, clean, and modern atmosphere to Huntington!” Asad J. of Vestal said on Yelp, noting that it serves up “great drinks and delicious food!!”

Asad’s party tried the classic eggs benedict – which they raved as being “perfectly cooked” – and the cannoli French toast.

“Couldn’t put my fork down!” they said.

While Over Easy serves up plenty of classic brunch dishes, including malted waffles, breakfast quesadillas, and avocado toasts, it also puts a fun spin on many typical breakfast fare.

For example, the ricotta toast, topped with bacon, hot honey, a tomato, and jam, all served on a toasted piece of ciabatta, which Jennifer H. of Plainview raved as “delicious.”

“The ciabatta was fresh and crunchy and super light,” she said.

Other standouts customers loved include the spicy feta toast, potato latke benedict, and the berry French toast nuggets.

Reviews also noted the blue plate specials, listed on the board daily, which allow customers to order a breakfast for just five dollars, or a lunch for ten.

And of course, no brunch would be complete without a beverage.

Luckily for cocktail lovers, Over Easy offers plenty of sips.

Those feeling like trying something new can grab a pickle martini, featuring spicy pickle juice, or the “smoke show,” which includes Aperol, mezcal, and watermelon.

And if you’re not feeling up for a hair of the dog after a night out, the eatery offers a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, including cold brew on tap and shakes.

“Can't wait to go back and introduce the place to friends,” wrote Yelper Pamela F. of NYC.

“Just love it!”
